Release notes LS One 2021 SP1

We are pleased to announce the release of LS One 2021 SP1 which includes bugfixes for LS One 2021 release and a new feature which enables the import of variants, dimensions and attributes with the excel import.

Excel import

In this release we introduce the possibility of importing dimensions and attributes for the variant items when importing from Excel. It is now also possible to importing service items and the assembly item.

These are the changes we did to the excel import:

• New column Item type (Not mandatory, defaults to retail item): Specifies the type of item. Valid values are found in the lookup values in the import template. Variant items are still set based on the Variant Header ID column.

• New column Dimensions/attributes (Not mandatory): Specify dimensions for header items or attributes for variant items. The values must be separated by a character which is set in the excel import dialog (default is ";")

• Dimensions can only be added when inserting a new header item or updating an existing header item with no dimensions defined with the override import mode. (Merge will not add the dimensions if the item exists)

• Attributes can only be added when inserting new variants (no edit possible)

• If the dimensions/attributes are defined but the item type doesn't match, the line will be skipped. If the dimensions/attributes are not defined, the column is ignored and the items are saved

• Dimensions/attributes are not case sensitive. If an attribute is being imported as "BLacK" and there is an existing attribute "Black" in the database, the existing attribute will be used

• If the number of attributes doesn't match the number of dimensions, the line will be skipped

• If the attributes combination already exists, the line will be skipped

Another change that was made is that the Vendor item unit is not updated when importing items.
