Update scheduler data for version 2021.1

This version must run with Data Director version 3.

In this version of LS One no new tables were added that need data replication. But it is always a good exercise to read the database design when upgrading LS One between versions.

To be able to upgrade you will need the following information

Scheduler data update

To update your scheduler data from LS One version 2021 to version 2021.1 you will only have to do a Read design.

Run Site Manager version 2021.1 and log in to your database.

When you do this the first time your database will be upgraded to 2021.1 version. Make sure to take a backup before updating the database. New tables and fields are added to your database.

Read design

  1. Go to Tools > [Replication] Settings > Distribution locations. Open the location from where you manage your replication and scheduling.

  2. In the right hand navigation press Read design

  3. Select Tables and fields and Update existing database design options and press OK.
  4. Now the Data Director will run through your database design and update it to include all new fields and tables.

 

This will add any new fields to your existing database design resulting new fields being replicated even by running your existing old jobs.
