Highlights for existing customers
Here below we try to list up all configurations and changes in this release that need to be specifically looked at when updating an existing customer. All links in this topic are to the sections within the release notes that have more information about the change and, in some cases, links to the field help with even more information.
Receipt changes
Please look at the Receipt designer changes as that impacts current variables that are being used in receipts
Data Director Scheduler changes
Some new configurations have been added to the Scheduler plugin that can help in configuring the data replication settings
New tables have been added to this release and scheduler jobs need to be created for them.
New or changed system configurations
Periodic discount caching can now be configured which can improve performance of discount calculations.
New configurations have been added to the existing X/Z report configurations on the functionality profile
New or changed POS functionality
The way the POS selects tax groups when a customer is on the transaction has been changed.
Scale item handling has been changed both in the Site Manager and the POS.
New operations have been added to the POS
Drop down EFT module has been changed to use operation Authorize Card instead of Pay card operation. If a customer is using this EFT implementation the layout needs to be changed.
Transfer orders and requests
Transfer orders and requests (or store transfers) have been completely rewritten and before updating an existing customer please make sure that there are no outstanding transfers within the system as they will not be migrated.
Mobile Inventory and Mobile POS

The LS One 2019 release does not include mobile functionality. This functionality will be added again in the 2019.1 release scheduled for May 2019
